Little Leightons Girls Learn to Play

Little Leightons Girls Learn to Play Program

Little Leightons is a Learn to Play program derived from our Little Howlers program. It is an on-ice youth hockey program hosted in cooperation with the Arizona Coyotes Hockey Development Program, the National Hockey League, USA Hockey, and local hockey rinks.

The program consists of six (6) one-hour sessions designed to provide kids ages 5-11 a risk free introduction to the sport of hockey.

For an incredibly low cost of $49 each child receives a set of equipment (including skates) to keep.

Equipment Received:

  • Helmet
  • Shoulder Pads
  • Elbow Pads
  • Gloves
  • Hockey Pants
  • Shin Guards
  • Skates
  • Hockey socks
  • Jersey
  • Stick

Gear Fitting

There will be a scheduled in-person gear fitting before the first on-ice clinic to ensure all gear is ordered and sized correctly. This date will be provided to you about a month prior to the start of your session.

Additional Information

The classes are taught by the local rink's learn to play instructors and include special visits from Coyotes/Jets Alumni Wayne McBean and Greg Adams

At the conclusion of the program, parents are given information on learn to skate and play hockey programs.
